A 31-year-old Woodinville man pleaded guilty this week to vehicular homicide in the death of a highway-construction worker in June. Kyle Williams, who recorded a blood-alcohol level of 0.2 the night his vehicle struck the worker, entered his plea Wednesday in King County Superior Court in the death of Kollin S. Nielson, 30, of Provo, Utah. Nielson was working in a closed section of Interstate 405 in Kirkland when he was struck and killed June 22. A second construction worker, Brandon Overland, 22, of Everett sustained minor injures. Police and prosecutors said Williams had been drinking at a Kirkland bar before he drove a 1999 Honda Passport around construction barriers set up near Northeast 116th Street. Nielson, an employee of Kiewit Construction who grew up in the Tri-Cities area, was struck about 12:49 a.m.
