A proposed subdivision on a narrow country road in Waldoboro has been scaled back from 11 to four lots, but remains less than a done deal, pending a public hearing and an ongoing boundary dispute. Robinson Road, a gravel road stretching between Washington Road and Augusta Road, runs through an 89-acre stretch of land originally owned by Charyn and Jay Baker. The Bakers sold the land to Cersosimo Industries Incorporated in April of 2007. The firm, a construction and logging operation, is located in Brattleboro, Vt. The original proposal raised concerns, said Waldoboro Code Enforcement Officer John Black, that that there would be too many driveways entering onto the gravel road. Questioning the capacity of Robinson Road, planning board Chairman Bo Yerxa said the it has a tendency to get soft at certain times of year, especially at the north end.
