MOULTON -- An FBI search of a Lawrence County Commission office found a clock radio equipped with a surveillance camera and recording devices, authorities said.
There were no arrests. FBI agent Dan Girsch said the investigation will continue. He declined to disclose details Friday.
Federal agents interviewed all five county commissioners as well as County Administrator Linda Harville and Assistant County Administrator Karen Harrison, who resigned her post earlier this week, citing stress.
During the search Thursday night, the FBI also seized a variety of items from Harrison's office, including seven video cassettes, a digital 12-channel receiver, a power supply and audiovisual cables.
They also confiscated a purchase receipt for the clock radio, which was purchased at the Alabama Spy Shop in Madison County.
